What makes her a Power Player: Though she only officially took the helm of Business High Point in February after filling the post on an interim basis since last summer, she’s long been an advocate in the city for economic development and entrepreneurship. She’s served with the chamber for 15 years, including as chief operating officer since 2013, and oversaw the development of Congdon Yards. In addition to advocating for the Carolina Core FC pro soccer team, she’s been a leader with Forward High Point, High Point Community Foundation, High Point Economic Development Corp., High Point Market Authority and High Point YWCA. She’s also a member of the High Point University Board of Visitors.
